The Hermitage General's Retreat, built in 1986 by Gary Roger Baird and set along the Cumberland River, was voted the "Best Golf Course in Nashville." The course served as host to the LPGA Sara Lee Classic for 11 years. The General's Retreat is a must-play when visiting the Nashville, Tennessee area.
