Course Details

The Gold Course at Wigwam Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout stretching more than 7,300 yards from the back tees. Unlike many Arizona golf courses that emphasize rugged desert terrain, the Gold Course offers a classic parkland-style experience with lush fairways, mature trees, lakes, canals, and strategically positioned bunkers throughout the property. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and later restored by Tom Lehman, the course emphasizes shot placement, angle management, and precision into elevated greens. Long par-4s, reachable but demanding par-5s, and heavily protected putting surfaces create a layout that challenges skilled golfers while still remaining playable through multiple tee options. The course’s rolling fairways and traditional architectural style provide a different feel from the typical Arizona desert course, delivering a refined championship golf experience with tournament pedigree and historic character.
